In the braw, bracin' chill o' February 2023, my dear friend Alister Benn and I found oursels on a holy journey tae Lewis & Harris, nestled snug within the lovin' grip o' the Outer Hebrides, Scotland.

The Isle o' Lewis and the Isle o' Harris, though they wear separate names, are truly siblings, creatin' a single entity in truth. In the days o' my youth, I'd trace their curves on the map hangin' in my wean's room, dreamin' o' adventures I thought were beyond reach. Wee did I ken that destiny would steer me tae their far-flung shores, far from the oft-trodden paths favored by many.

Nature's wild symphony called out, a spellbindin' ballet o' unbridled might and the delicate grace o' life's subtleties. Here, amidst a land that may seem monotonous and unyieldin', I uncovered a world that reveled in its diversity, pulsatin' with vibrant life. Lewis & Harris captured ma heart, a magnetic force promisin' my return.
